The Alcohol License Review Committee approved a new class B/beer license on Jan. 15 for Wisco Cheese and Cheers LLC at 4905 Commercial Avenue, Suite B. Agent Kevin Patel described plans to offer cheeseburgers, pizzas, fries and wings, and said he had discussed lighting and hours with the district police captain.
Patel told the committee he will open for lunch and dinner and that no one attended the posted information session; he said he had contacted the alder but had not received a response. When asked about the type of alcohol sales, Patel confirmed he was seeking beer only for the restaurant.
Mr. Bruchac moved approval and Alder Martinez Rutherford seconded. The motion passed by voice vote with no objections. The Clerk’s office will issue the license after administrative review and completion of required fees and inspections.
