The committee approved an entity reorganization and a change of agent for Walnut Hollow ENT LLC, doing business as Plaza Tavern & Grill at 319 North Henry Street, during the Jan. 15 meeting.
Agent Erica DeRozan introduced herself and told the committee, “My name is Erica DeRozan, and we plan to continue business as usual at the plaza.” Ian Miller (joining by Zoom) and longtime employee Eric described their long tenure at the restaurant and said they intend to maintain the establishment’s traditions. The applicants and manager discussed efforts to limit underage access, including purchase-verification technology; Erica said the business implemented Intellicheck at staff recommendation of the police.
Police reported no ongoing large concerns at the establishment. Committee members praised the applicants’ succession plan and long service; Alder Rivera moved to grant both the change of agent and entity reorganization and a second was recorded. The committee approved the items by voice vote with no objections.
Staff will finalize the administrative steps to complete the change of agent and entity reorganization.
