- Consent agenda (approved): The committee approved a consent agenda including three building-use requests: Blueberry Hill PTO — 5K and carnival (Blueberry Hill parking lot, May 18, 8:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m.); Glenbrook Pack — Bulldog Dash 5K (Glenbrook, May 4, 7:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m.); National Multiple Sclerosis Society — proposed hydration station at Williams parking lot for the charity walk (May 3–4, 9 a.m.–1 p.m.; district staff are coordinating to avoid site conflicts with a lacrosse tournament).
- School improvement plans (approved): The committee approved the 2024–2027 school improvement plans for Blueberry Hills School, Center School, Wolf Swamp Road School, Glenbrook Middle School, Williams Middle School and Longmeadow High School (motion passed by roll call; see separate article for details).
- Gift accepted (approved): The Blueberry Hill PTO donation of library furniture, $5,245.88, was accepted with appreciation.
- Overnight field trip (approved): Longmeadow High School students were authorized to travel to Hyannis, Mass., March 5–7, 2025, for the Massachusetts Association of Student Councils conference.
- MCAS/competency determination (approved): The committee certified that Longmeadow High School students in the Class of 2025 can meet the Massachusetts competency determination for graduation by fulfilling the district’s current Longmeadow High School graduation requirements (motion specified the certification pertains to the class of 2025).
- Executive session (approved): The committee voted to enter executive session under Massachusetts General Laws for collective bargaining preparation with Units A, B, C, D, E, F and H and for consideration of release of prior executive session minutes; the motion specified no return to open session.
