Torres, speaking for staff, reviewed the board’s strategic plan status and said staff is working with a risk‑assessment consultant to develop an audit universe and agreed‑upon procedures. Torres said an RFP will be issued shortly with the goal of selecting a firm by the end of the fiscal year to begin audits in the next fiscal year.
