Commission discusses roads workshop scheduling as resident cites new road-funding bill

Brodsky asked commissioners to discuss the change at upcoming meetings; staff replied that the governor had not yet signed the bill and that staff hoped to have more information before Oct. 27.
Separately, commissioners discussed scheduling a roads and infrastructure workshop. Staff and the mayor said the commission’s reorganization and upcoming election compress available dates in November; staff proposed tying the roads workshop into a November/December schedule after the new commission is seated. The multimodal board’s internal meeting to develop recommendations is scheduled for Oct. 23; a joint meeting with the commission would likely follow the seating of the new commission in November or December.
No formal action was taken; commissioners asked staff to return with workshop timing and to coordinate with multimodal-board outputs and any new funding information.
