The Senate unanimously adopted the 2025 standing-committee nominations report and later voted to suspend the rules to take up SJR 277; both measures recorded unanimous support when roll calls were taken. The chamber agreed to SJR 277 honoring former governor Lawrence Douglas Wilder.
