The board approved the amended hearing date by motion and vote. The board directed staff to publish the notice within the statutory window and to include preliminary cost estimates when available.
The board noted that the change was intended to give departments time to finalize budget requests and that moving the hearing would still meet publication deadlines for a public hearing on a budget amendment.
