Under item 5 the board certified eligible lists for multiple job classifications, including accounting technician trainee (open), contract specialist (promotional), deputy city marshal (lateral, open), fire prevention inspector (open), HVAC technician (open), IT support technician (open), maintenance worker (open), municipal court marshal (open) and network administration specialist (open). Member Ponticello moved to approve item 5; the motion passed on an affirmative voice vote with no recorded opposition.
Item 6 extended eligible lists for classifications including cultural specialist (open), customer service representative (open), DPS communication specialist (open), fire investigator (promotional), GIS technician (open), logistics technician (open), Planner 1 (open), technical systems analyst (open) and vehicle parts specialist (open). Member Brown moved to approve item 6; the extension motion passed unanimously.
Item 7 certified classification specifications for fire apparatus mechanic (classification code noted in the meeting as “123”). Member Hatch moved the certification; the motion passed with no recorded opposition.
Item 8 abolished two eligible lists: deputy city marshal (lateral, established Oct. 23, 2024) and senior technical systems analyst. Member Stamper moved approval; the motion passed unanimously.
Item 9 approved requests to place Fabiana Paisani on the rehire list for fire prevention inspector and Sean Huddle on the rehire list for maintenance worker. Member Ponticello moved approval; the motion passed on a unanimous voice vote.
The board confirmed compliance with the open meeting law at the start of the session and closed the meeting after the agenda items were finished. No substantive debate or amendments to the motions were recorded on the public transcript.
