Joint Committee on State Building Construction elects new chair, vice chair and ranking member

Members of the Joint Committee on State Building Construction elected new leadership during a brief meeting dominated by procedural business.

Representative Delbertang was nominated and approved as chair after a motion from Representative Anderson and a second on the floor. The committee then approved a vice chair and a ranking minority member by voice vote.

The committee’s work was procedural and short: members said the upcoming legislative session will be condensed and that the panel will receive numerous requests this year.
