Commission approves Cornerstone Exchange and Halifax Townhomes plats; motions pass with 6-1 votes

The resolution for Cornerstone Exchange authorizes the city manager to sign the final plat for a subdivision on about 22.71 acres at the southwest corner of Williamson Boulevard and LPGA Boulevard and permit recordation after specified conditions are met. The motion carried, recorded as 6-1 in favor.
The commission also approved a resolution for Halifax Townhomes, a subdivision on about 39.44 acres on the west side of Clyde Morris Boulevard just south of the new Cornerstone Boulevard section. The preliminary and final plat resolution likewise authorizes the city manager to sign and record the plat once conditions precedent are satisfied; that motion also carried 6-1.
No members of the public spoke on either item and no substantive ordinance text or conditions were read into the record beyond what appears in the agenda descriptions. The clerk recorded the tallies as 6-1 for Cornerstone Exchange and 6-1 for Halifax Townhomes; the record did not show the names of individual yes/no votes on the floor.
Both items authorize administrative steps to permit recordation after staff confirms the listed conditions have been met. No immediate developer agreements or funding changes were announced on the dais.
