The Tuscaloosa City Public Projects Committee approved a joint funding agreement with the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Water Resources Division to maintain a streamflow gauging station at Cripps Mill Creek for $13,575. Staff said the Cripps Mill Creek gauge provides streamflow data the wastewater plant uses to determine discharge conditions.
Kimberly explained the city performs these joint agreements annually with USGS and that the Cripps Mill Creek gauge is paid from the wastewater plant operations budget. Committee members moved, seconded and approved the item by voice vote.
