Plan commission advises utility easement releases before approving CSM for Golden Ponds lots

Lauren (Community Development Director) said the applicant has a release from MG&E but still needs releases from other providers — she mentioned Charter/Spectrum and AT&T as examples — and that Waunakee Utilities typically requires coordination to abandon an unneeded set of service laterals.
Commissioners and the applicant discussed timing; the owners indicated an intent to begin building in three to four months and said they would quickly work to secure the remaining utility releases. Staff recommended withholding final village signature on the CSM until all easement releases are provided and Waunakee Utilities’ requirements are met; that recommendation was accepted by the commission.
