Committee members asked whether Latin remains offered (the presenter confirmed it is still in the program of studies), whether early-college courses can be taken alongside AP courses (the presenter said yes), and whether improv, dance and wellness electives could substitute for physical education (the presenter said dance can count toward the requirement and other activities could be considered).
Committee members also asked for an overview of an "executive internship" course; the presenter said the internship occupies two course slots and is a partial-day placement negotiated with employers or internship providers.
After questions, a committee member moved to send the recommended program-of-studies course list for school year 2025'26 to the full committee; the motion was seconded and passed on a roll call vote.
No course-by-course funding details were adopted at the meeting; the subcommittee forwarded the package for full-committee consideration.
