Commission approves two-lot Peak subdivision preliminary plan with irrigation-company and deed conditions

The Santaquin Planning Commission voted unanimously to conditionally approve the preliminary plan for the Peak subdivision, a two-lot split of a parcel at 390 North 200 East.
Staff said the plan meets requirements for an infill reduction previously granted by the commission and that the Development Review Committee recommended approval subject to two conditions: (1) written approval from Summit Creek Irrigation Company for an irrigation ditch and culvert where the driveway crosses the ditch, and (2) recordation of a deed to transfer a small remnant parcel to the southern property owner before the plat is recorded. Engineering and other city requirements were reported as satisfied, subject to those conditions.
Commissioner Nixon moved to approve the preliminary plan with the two conditions; Commissioner Waite seconded. Commissioners Nixon, Wood, Waite and Hoffman voted yes and the motion passed unanimously. Staff told the applicants the city will check that the approved plat has been posted to the online portal and will follow up if not.
