During public comment, resident Timothy Jones described shortages in emergency shelter and transitional housing and asked how to find service providers that accept particular medical coverage types. Hoyle responded that the department’s community-resource specialists help screen clients for social needs and connect them to available resources; she offered to provide a printed list of funded programs that was attached to the digital agenda but not included in the meeting handouts.
The council carried the motion to approve the Keno distributions on a recorded roll call.
