Martin County approves two continuing services contracts totaling up to $6.5 million

"I have 2 contracts for your consideration today," Brotherton said. She described a continuing services agreement for generator maintenance and repair with a maximum not-to-exceed value of $1,500,000 and a five-year maximum term, and a continuing services agreement for food services items and cleaning supplies with a maximum not-to-exceed value of $5,000,000 and a five-year term. For the generator contract staff recommended awarding to the two highest‑scoring firms, 360 Energy Solutions and Genesys Services; for the food-and-supplies contract staff recommended awarding to the two lowest responsive and responsible bidders, Allure Hospitality Suppliers and Cisco Southeast Bridal.
The board moved and seconded staff's recommendations and voted to approve both items. "All those in favor, aye," the chair said; the motions passed unanimously.
The procurement officer said the awards would authorize the county administrator or designee to execute all documents related to the requests; Brotherton concluded the item after the approvals.
