At its January meeting the Aiken Design Review Board elected Ben Lott as chair, John McMichael as vice chair and reappointed Rebecca Seymour as secretary/staff liaison; the new officers assumed their roles immediately.
At the January 2025 meeting of the Aiken Design Review Board, members elected Ben Lott as chair, John McMichael as vice chair and Rebecca Seymour as secretary (staff liaison). The board voted on each office individually and the motions passed by voice/hand vote without objection.
Outgoing temporary chair noted she had served in the role for six months and nominated Ben Lott; Ahmad McHale seconded the nomination. Rebecca Seymour remains the staff liaison and secretary. The board recorded that newly elected officers would begin their roles at this meeting.
The election was procedural and the board immediately proceeded to the regular agenda after confirmation of officers.
