Council hears Curry Golf Course 2024 review and a proposal for year-round simulators

Nick Bednar, a Troon operations representative who manages Curry Golf Course, told the Midland City Council on Jan. 13 that 2024 was the course’s strongest year since Troon began operating the facility. “We had our best year ever,” Bednar said, reporting rounds rose from about 53,000 to 61,000 and total revenues approached $2.2 million.
City staff and Bednar gave context about national and state trends in golf participation before turning to facility-level results.
