Lopez Ferguson said, "we would like to request funding for $955,000 in total. We received 30 application requests. Of those, 26 were funded, and 4 were not recommended for funding." She described CSAC as a joint city–county commission that reviewed applications, conducted site visits and interviewed applicants; the commission deliberated by consensus before the holidays to set recommendations.
