Larimer County commissioners approve consent agenda, proclamations and move to executive session

FORT COLLINS, Colo. — The Larimer County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously Tuesday to approve routine minutes and a consent agenda that included multiple contracts, appointments, grant-support letters and road-acceptance resolutions, and later voted to enter an executive session to get legal advice on land-use hearing evidence.
The actions were taken at the board’s administrative matters meeting in the commissioners’ conference room. The board approved the consent agenda and other routine business by 3-0 votes.
The consent agenda included three contracts: a planned enterprise network core and distribution hardware replacement (approximately $384,000), a Justice Center elevator modernization contract with TK Elevator Corporation (just over $1,000,000) and a professional services agreement with ESI Technologies for audio-visual design, installation and maintenance (contract amount not specified). The agenda also listed three petitions for abatement or refund of taxes and a new brewpub liquor license for Funk Works.
The board approved a slate of appointments and reappointments to improvement districts and advisory committees, including reappointments to Eagle Ranch Estates Public Improvement District, Eagle Crest Public Improvement District, Foothills Shadows Public Improvement District, Rockview Wildflower Ridge Public Improvement District, Paragon Estates Public Improvement District, Horseshoe View Estates North Public Improvement District, Bruns Public Improvement District and Manor Ridge Estates Public Improvement District. New appointments included Jay Krause to the fair board and Bart Furrow to the Highland Hills Public Improvement District. Larimer County also approved two letters of support for federal grant applications: a RAISE grant request for the Windsor Highway 392 Safety and Mobility Corridor project and a PROTECT grant request for flood mitigation and replacement of the U.S. 287 bridge over the Big Thompson River in Loveland. The board approved three resolutions to accept public roads for county maintenance (portions of County Road 34/West Trilby Road, County Road 65d/Elm Road adjacent to the road and bridge Estes Park shop, and Westview Road).
