Texas Citrus Fiesta in Mission set for Jan. 21–25 with 'Boots and Blossoms' theme

Organizers identified the festival theme as “Boots and Blossoms” and said the coronation of the 88th Citriana queen will be held Thursday, Jan. 23, at 7 p.m. The festival’s signature parade is scheduled to begin at noon Saturday, Jan. 25, along Conway Street from Avenue 495 to First Street; attendees were asked to arrive early and bring chairs. After the parade, a closing fair and festival will open at 2 p.m. at the Cid building, 801 Bryant, and the gala doors at the Centro de Eventos Especiales will open at 7 p.m.
