Sunnyside Unified District board approves amended agenda and consent items, then adjourns

The Sunnyside Unified District Governing Board unanimously approved an amended meeting agenda and the consent agenda during a virtual session, then voted to adjourn.

The board approved the amended agenda after a motion and second were recorded; a roll-call vote showed five ayes and no dissent. The board later approved the consent agenda items in a second unanimous roll-call vote. The meeting concluded after a motion to adjourn carried on a unanimous vote.

The actions were procedural approvals typically used to finalize the order of business and accept routine items such as past meeting minutes and standard personnel or procurement items. Board members who participated in the roll calls — Mister Bustamante, Mister Jaramillo, Miss Hernandez, Mister Rodriguez and Missus Quintero — recorded “aye” on each roll-call vote called by the presiding officer.

Attendance and votes were recorded on the electronic roll calls shown in the meeting record. After the adjournment vote, board members were asked to sign vouchers and other documents as needed.

No ordinances, contracts, budget adoptions or policy adoptions were discussed or decided in the portions of the meeting reflected in the record. Staff and board members did not identify additional formal actions requiring follow-up during the same session.
