Dunbar School to be considered for National Register at Heritage Commission meeting Jan. 22

Why it matters: A listing on the National Register recognizes historical significance and can affect preservation planning, eligibility for some grants and public awareness. The Human Relations Commission circulated the announcement to make other city boards and community members aware of the Heritage Commission agenda item.
Staff said they did not have additional details at the Jan. 14 meeting and encouraged commissioners to follow the Heritage Commission notice for the final agenda and materials.
