Patrick Duffy, founder and president of Barney Monk Event Staffing and payroll and an officer with IATSE Local 27, told the committee he has been a union member since 1993 and runs an employer-of-record service that serves venues across the United States and Canada.
The committee recorded motions to send both line items to formal with the recommendation to approve pending drafted resolutions from the Law Department; the chair announced both actions as taken after there were no objections.
