The Native American Commission on Jan. 2, 2025, approved its meeting agenda and the Nov. 7, 2024, minutes and appointed member Dale Sayers as vice chair through Dec. 2026.

The approval of the agenda and Nov. 7 meeting minutes was moved by Suzanne Sensky and seconded by Dale Sayers; the motion carried. Later in the meeting the nominating committee’s recommendation to appoint Dale Sayers as vice chair was presented. Sayers accepted the nomination.

Daniel Fry made the motion to appoint Sayers as vice chair; Suzanne Sensky seconded. During the roll call for the appointment, members voiced their assent and the motion carried. The vice chair term runs from the Jan. 2 meeting through December 2026, as stated during the meeting.
