Mister Boney, presenting the HR report, noted the retirement of Lenore Saragini after 30 years in the district, departures including Chuck Collier, and three teacher retirements from Depp Elementary: Lisa Kavanaugh (21 years), Mary Kate Patterson (34 years), and Jennifer Argo (30 years). The HR report also listed two certified hires for 2025-26 (intervention specialists) and several classified hires and resignations. The agenda included three stipends for spring work tied to summer-school preparation, extended-school-year (ESY) program planning, and an EL summer reading program.
A motion to approve items 21A through 21C was moved by Missus Messick, seconded by Missus De Silva, and passed 4-0 on roll call with votes recorded as Missus Messick: yes; Missus De Silva: yes; Missus Gillis: yes; Missus Rigby: yes.
Board members thanked departing staff for their service and acknowledged the workload required to prepare summer programming.
