Lake County Council approves a bundle of line items, appropriations and appointments

The Lake County Council approved a series of budget adjustments, new line items and appointments across county departments and funds during a meeting that included roll-call votes, grant approvals and personnel-related budget changes.

Clerk overtime and transfer: The council voted to create a new overtime line item in the clerk’s budget and approve transfers from the general fund. The first motion created a new overtime line item for $50,000; a subsequent motion transferred $60,000 from the general fund from part-time to overtime to fund the line item.
