A motion was made to recognize the withdrawal; the board also discussed that the company's corporate office reviewed projects nationally and had retained only one local project, leaving the status of any future application uncertain.
After the board's vote accepting the withdrawal, members moved to close the public hearing. Board members recorded no written public comments or emails on the file in response to the hearing notice. The board left open the possibility the applicant could return in the future but recorded no further commitments.
