Board approves personnel stipend, sick-bank days, per diem increase and policy amendment

In other business the board approved a 10% increase in overnight per diem meal rates to align with federal per diem rate increases announced in October 2024. Katie said the change "is in line with the federal per diem." The board approved the increase by voice vote.
The board also approved a one-reading amendment to policy KBDA to add a parent survey requirement for Washington and Truman buildings, a change described as driven by federal requirements. The motion to amend KBDA passed by voice vote.
All four actions carried with no recorded opposition during the meeting.
