County approves modest increases to Hogneck Golf Course memberships and daily fees

The Talbot County Council approved proposed rate changes for Hogneck Golf Course for 2025 after a presentation from Rich Sutter, Hogneck’s head golf professional and general manager.
Sutter said membership rates would rise by about $100 for single memberships and by about $200 for couples and family memberships. He also said the main change among daily rates would be an increase in weekend greens fees while other rates would remain largely the same.
The council moved and seconded approval of the fee schedule and recorded unanimous ayes by President Callahan and council members Stepp, Lesher, Milkey and Hayes.
Sutter also noted Hogneck will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2026 and invited the council to share ideas for events. The council complimented staff on the efficiency of the presentation and approved the rate changes for inclusion in the 2025 operating plan.
