The Yukon Planning Commission on Jan. 13 approved a final plat application for 1401 Lakeshore Drive, concluding a matter the panel first considered as a preliminary plat two years earlier.
Commissioner Craig Knuckles moved to recommend approval of the final plat application submitted by Peacock Design on behalf of applicant Shane Swearingen (Global Equity). Commissioners Jeff Geiss, Lee Clark and Steven Jones seconded or joined the motion; the roll call recorded unanimous yes votes.
The commission reviewed the staff report and the public hearing record before voting. A staff member told the commission the site is already developed and that no substantive changes had been made since the preliminary-plat approval. No members of the public spoke on the item during the meeting.
The motion states the commission had read the staff report and received testimony at the public hearing and found itself in agreement with the staff findings, recommending approval of the final plat. The commission took no additional conditions or amendments on the record.
The commission moved on to the next agenda item after the vote.
