Licenses approved: the committee granted new Class D operator licenses for Anthony Ferguson and Jessica Sobzynski after reviewing their records and rehabilitation steps discussed at the hearing. Committee members noted both applicants had prior OWI/related items but cited the length of time since the most recent incidents and evidence of rehabilitation.
License denied: the committee denied Casey Jupp’s operator license application after reviewing a record with numerous driving‑related offenses, including a recent OWI, and multiple incidents of driving while suspended. Committee members cited the driving record and repeated noncompliance as the primary reason for denial.
Other approvals: the committee approved operator licenses for Eric Vargas Almedia and Venetia Lucas after members concluded the recorded incidents did not present a substantial relationship to the licensing activity or that the applicants had satisfied corrective steps.
Super Bottle LLC complaint: the committee also considered a sworn complaint filed by the West Allis Police Department alleging two separate compliance‑test sales to underage buyers at Super Bottle (July 30 and Nov. 11, 2024). The record shows the store’s employees sold alcohol to an underage decoy without requesting identification; employees and an on-site owner/agent acknowledged the transactions. The respondent (agent Roenderjeet Singh) admitted both counts on the record. Because both counts were admitted, the committee agreed to schedule a follow‑up hearing before the committee/council to determine suspension or revocation of the Class A fermented malt beverage and Class A intoxicating liquor licenses; a hearing date will be provided to the licensee by the city clerk.
