Animal Services brings adoptable animals to board meetings; ‘Ace’ introduced

Medina introduced a dog named Ace, described as a tricolor Australian Shepherd about one year old and roughly 36 pounds. Medina said Ace is high‑energy, bonds quickly, and requires a meet‑and‑greet if the adopter has another dog.
Medina thanked animal services staff and volunteers. She reported volunteer hours: dog volunteers contributed more than 596 hours and cat volunteers about 100 hours during the referenced period. Medina provided a contact phone number (754‑6509) for those interested in Ace and noted that volunteers and staff help manage adoption and care.
Separately, supervisors praised local author Sal Manna’s new book on county dogs and congratulated the animal services team for outreach efforts.
