The Adams County Solid Waste Committee met Jan. 14 and approved its agenda and the Oct. 8 meeting minutes, then adopted a resolution recognizing Karen Bass for 31 years of service to Adams County.
The votes were procedural and uncontroversial. Supervisor Dave Grovarski moved to approve the agenda; Supervisor Bork seconded. For the minutes, Supervisor Bork moved to approve the Oct. 8 minutes and Supervisor Gilner seconded. Later, Supervisor Bork moved to adopt a resolution recognizing Karen Bass for 31 years of county service; Supervisor Grabarski seconded. For each motion the chair called for the question and members answered “aye,” and the chair declared the motions carried.
The meeting began with a roll call noting Supervisor Gordy Carlson absent. No member raised objections during the three motions recorded in the transcript.
The committee then moved on to routine reports and site updates.
