San Rafael City Schools board adopts three recognition resolutions, approves personnel and routine business

San Rafael City Schools Board of Education on Jan. 13 unanimously adopted three resolutions recognizing Black History Month (Resolution 2425-33), declaring Jan. 20 as Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Resolution 2425-34) and proclaiming Jan. 27 as International Holocaust Remembrance Day (Resolution 2425-35). The board also approved a set of routine personnel and business items on the consent agenda, including a classified personnel title change, two employee reemployment-list resolutions and standard financial actions.

The board moved its consent and action items without extended debate. - Accepted donations totaling $13,038 to multiple schools, including Davidson Middle School, Terra Linda High School, and San Pedro Elementary School. Motion carried.
