Planning Commission elects officers, approves minutes; no land-use votes taken

Election of officers A nomination was made to elect Commissioner Espie as chair. The commission then voted by roll call. Record of the roll call as recorded in the meeting transcript: Commissioner Dole — Aye; Commissioner Laws — Aye; Commissioner LaSalle — Aye; Commissioner Schlagenhofer — Aye; Vice Chair (record listed as "SB") — Aye; Chair Stoll — Aye. The motion carried and the commission accepted the new chair; Chair Espie then presided over the meeting.

No formal land-use approvals or legislative code adoptions occurred during the meeting. Staff announced upcoming agenda items (including the Tom Wadew master plan public hearing and a proposed floodplain overlay amendment) and updates on the recently adopted Park Place concept plan code.
The meeting adjourned after communications and scheduling items; staff noted the CFEC-related code amendments will return to the commission for further public hearings in March.
