The board approved the hire of Daniel Dobson as the district's director of sports medicine. She holds a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University–Commerce and a master's degree from the University of North Texas at Denton. Trustee McCutcheon moved the motion to approve Edmonson; Trustee Pitts seconded. The motion passed 6-0. Edmonson thanked the board and said she looked forward to continuing to serve the district.
