Plain City resident urges council to address construction mud from nearby development

"They were fantastic because every day they had a street sweeper ... It made me realize how bad of a job Doctor Horton's been doing. They've been doing such a subpar," Mayer said, using the name as it sounded in his remarks.
He asked whether the village can enforce maintenance requirements in contracts with developers; a staff member responded that the village has an ordinance about roadway models and certain streets must be turned over to the village before full enforcement is possible, but staff said they would continue to follow up with the developer and with public‑works staff to address the concern.
