The speaker also announced joint committee appointments: to the Joint Fiscal Committee, Representative Shai of Middlebury (ex officio as chair of the Appropriations Committee), Representative Kornheiser of Brattleboro, Representative Wood of Waterbury, Representative Harrison of Chittenden, and Representative Kimball of Woodstock. To the Joint Legislative Management Committee, the speaker noted the speaker serves ex officio and named Representative 2 of St. Albans Town, Representative Wood of Waterbury, and Representative Dolan of Essex Junction. Finally, the Green Mountain Care Board Nominating Committee appointments were listed as Representative Donahue of Northfield and Representative Goldman of Rockingham.
The speaker noted that harassment-prevention training for the House will be held in the chamber immediately following adjournment. Many appointments were reported as actions of the House Rules Committee rather than votes on the floor.
