The Victoria City Planning Commission on Dec. 19 approved a variance to the minimum lot width and granted final plat approval for AC Hahn Subdivision, Resubdivision No. 2, which will reconfigure a parcel at 708 East Constitution Street into three single‑family lots.
Planning staff said the site was previously platted and developed with three single‑family homes and that the proposed replat would create three detached single‑family lots. One of the proposed lots would have a width of 42 feet; staff reported that all other development standards would be met and recommended approval of the variance because the change would not significantly alter the neighborhood’s character.
Staff asked commissioners to condition final approval on the final plat meeting all requirements for detached single‑family residential lots. With no members of the public requesting to speak at the public hearing, a commissioner moved to approve the variance and the final plat; another commissioner seconded and the motion passed on a voice vote.
The commission later included the final plat on the consent agenda and approved the consent agenda, which contained adoption of minutes from the Nov. 21 meeting and the final plat for AC Hahn Subdivision, Resubdivision No. 2.
