Parker Town Council approved two resolutions appointing volunteers to local boards.
Resolution 25‑002: Council approved the reappointment of five regular members to the Parker Cultural & Scientific Commission and reappointed Bethany Wood as chair for another one‑year term. Keri Glassburn (staff) told council that six commission terms expired Dec. 31 and five incumbents sought reappointment; the commission recommended reappointing the five and leaving one vacancy for an 11‑member body (they had previously had 12 commissioners) to avoid even ties on votes. Council approved the resolution by a 4‑0 vote.
Resolution 25‑003 (recorded as resolution number 25‑3 in the packet): Town Clerk Chris Vandepoel presented appointments to the Special Licensing Authority. Council approved three regular members (Tiffany Howell, Arty [last name inaudible in transcript], and Kelly Nardi), two alternates (Jerry Emblade and Timothy Perkins), and a vacancy fill (Phil La Bella could not attend). The council also approved the recommendation to keep Kelly Nardi as chair and Mike Appleby as vice chair. Councilmembers thanked volunteers and approved the resolution 4‑0.
The appointments were approved without public objection; council directed staff to complete the administrative tasks related to onboarding and scheduling.
