The Pennington County Planning Commission approved consent-agenda items Jan. 13 by a single vote, accepting staff recommendations for three conditional-use permit reviews.
Planning Director Britney Molitor said staff placed four items on the consent agenda and that any item could be removed for separate consideration. The commission removed item 5 (CUR 22-15) for discussion and then approved the remaining consent items: CUR 21-3 (Rod and Teresa Cassidy — multi-family residence review in a rural-residential district); CUR 22-16 (Don and Troy Richter — recreational vehicle park in an agricultural district); and CUR 22-48 (Rebecca and Roger Stottle — vacation home rental review, with staff recommending termination of the permit because the property was sold and the new owner does not wish to operate a vacation rental).
Staff noted that any consent item may be removed by a commissioner, staff member or a member of the audience. The motion to approve the consent agenda carried by voice vote; the transcript records an aye but no roll-call tally.
Item CUR 22-15 was removed from the consent agenda at the request of commissioners and the public and was considered separately.
