The Waupaca Planning Commission voted to approve a site plan for 3 H Brew LLC, doing business as Hinder Brewing Company, and granted an exception to the city's open‑space requirement to allow a larger parking area intended to limit spillover parking on Churchill and 10th streets.
The commission's approval covers parcels at 804 and 810 Churchill Street, 905 10th Street and two adjacent lots on Columbia Street that will be used for off‑premise parking under an existing conditional use permit. Acting Chair Henry Velacher opened the item by noting, "This is site plan review, so this is our authority to make the final decision. We don't have to send this, to council." The motion to approve passed by voice vote; commissioners present said "aye" and the chair declared "Motion carries."
