Development Services staff introduced the reappointment and described the Planning Commission as the legislative advisory body to council; staff said the commission will be especially active given upcoming downtown subarea planning and other work through the next two to three years. Council moved, seconded and approved the reappointment by voice vote, then administered a ceremonial swearing‑in at the dais.
No council questions or opposition were recorded during the motion. Carlson took the oath of office and signed the oath sheet at the meeting.
