District to consider capital-project interfund transfer; board will vote at Jan. 23 meeting

Tony (business-office staff) told the Committee of the Whole that the transfer had been included in this year’s budget and that state board mechanics require board approval of the transfer. The packet described a transfer amount stated in the meeting as $3,701,000,000; staff said the item will return for formal approval on Jan. 23.
Board members asked clarifying questions but did not vote on Jan. 8; the board president said the resolution will appear on the regular board agenda three days after the district’s cold-weather window referenced in the meeting.
