The district maintains the work must be corrected before completion, but the parties have not reached agreement about who will pay for replacement fill, compaction and any necessary soil treatment. Dr. Bollinger said the district has "okayed for the work to move forward" but acknowledged the schedule will be tight to meet season targets.
The board also received an update on hail damage from a September storm. The district has submitted estimates for shingle roof repairs and is awaiting additional estimates for HVAC work; insurance adjuster contacts are coordinating sample decisions and potential upgrades, including converting some shingle roofs to metal where cost thresholds allow.
