Snow response and highway operations
County officials provided a detailed operational report on snow removal after a storm that county staff said produced the county’s average annual snowfall within a short period. A county highway staff member thanked crews for sustained work and noted ongoing constraints: limited salt and cinders in some runs, equipment damage and the practical limits of keeping every road fully cleared in severe conditions.
