The Bellevue City Council voted Jan. 7 to approve the Arts Commission’s funding recommendations for the 2025 Eastside Arts Partnership (EAP) support grants and project grants, committing $350,000 in city funding to the program.
The arts grants program, administered by the city and guided by principles adopted by council in 2022, will fund 61 of 66 applicants: 37 of 40 Eastside Arts Partnership support applications and 24 of 26 project grants. The allocations committee and Arts Commission also recommended four Power Up equal-access awards and three BelRed bonus grants, Mayor Robinson’s office said during the meeting.
