Senate gives first readings to six bills—including a Medicaid-equivalent coverage measure—and refers each to committee

The Senate gave first readings to six bills and referred each to a standing committee during a brief session; members then approved a motion to adjourn until 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2025.
