The notices, read into the record, named appointees and reappointments to boards and commissions including the Idaho Endowment Fund Investment Board, the Treasure (Treasures) Investment Advisory Board, the Board of Environmental Quality, the Idaho Water Resource Board, the Lottery Division director post, the State Board of Correction and the Public Charter School Commission. The president also announced referrals of each appointment to committees that will consider confirmation.
The referrals came during the "messages from the governor" portion of the Senate session. "The roll call shows 27 present with 8, absent," President Scott Bedke said as the chamber opened its business.
